About MK Arts

Every piece of jewelry tells a story, and mine started in a junior high art classroom.

It was at Folwell Jr. High where my art teacher, Mrs. Thornton, first introduced me to the art of beadwork. That spark never left me. Over the years, I kept coming back to jewelry making, experimenting, creating, and refining my craft, until one day I decided the world needed to see what I'd been making.

MK Arts is the result of that journey: a woman-owned studio where creativity meets intention. I work with both new materials and repurposed pieces, giving forgotten jewelry new life and new meaning. Every item is handcrafted with care, and no two pieces are exactly alike.

I occasionally curate items that I think my customers will love in my travels as well.

When you wear something from MK Arts, you're not just wearing jewelry. You're wearing a piece of a story that's been years in the making.
